Hamlet S. Avanesian attended the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors and completed his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biological Science as well as Dental Science. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at USC, School of Dentistry by graduating in top ten percent of his class. His passion for advanced dentistry led him pursue and further refine his surgical techniques at USC's Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he mastered the art of dental implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Avanesian is committed to delivering the latest advancement in oral health care for his patients by completing over 500 hours of continuing education in implant, cosmetic and laser dentistry. He is also further trained and certified in hospital dentistry (IV-sedation), where he treats medically compromised patients. Dr. Avanesian is certified in Sport Dentistry and Trauma. He is currently affiliated with multiple local sport clubs as a dental consultant.

Dr. Avanesian has completed requirements and graduated from multiple world known institutes including the New Port Oral Facial Institute and The Noble Biocare Dental Implant Institule. He is also a certified Invisalign Orthodontics (invisible braces) provider. Dr. Avanesian is a fellow candidate for the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry and associate fellow of Biolase Clinical Laser Institute.
